View Procedures
The Procedures tab on the Patient Details page displays procedures such as Comfort Measures, VTE Risk Assessment/Low Risk and SCIP surgical procedures.
Comfort Measures is an exclusion for many of the e-CQMs. There are other SNOMED codes in the Comfort Measures and Palliative/Hospice value sets that will also display on the Procedures tab.
VTE Risk Assessment/Low Risk will place the patient in the VTE measures numerator, if captured within the required timeframe. The procedure must have the LOINC code for the assessment and the result SNOMED code.
SCIP surgical procedures and General Anesthesia are both data elements evaluated in the VTE logic.
