Value Set Search

Search for value sets and/or codes associated with active eCQMs by selecting the “Value Sets” feature in the upper toolbar.

The value set look-up page has 2 options for searching:

1. The OID List displays a complete list of value sets.
   • Included in the view are value set descriptions, associated OID codes (from the specification Data Criteria) as well as a list of measures which include the OID.
   • Users can search for applicable OIDs to confirm mapping requirements, validate data, and troubleshoot results.
2. The Code List displays a complete list of codes found in the value sets and is a useful tool when searching for codes for mapping. Access the list by clicking in the Code Listing tab.
   • To find codes in a value set, enter the OID code in the OID column for a specific value set. This filters the data and displays all codes in that value set. The codes display in the Code ID column.
   • To confirm a mapped code is correct, enter the specific nomenclature code in the Code ID column. This filters the data and displays the value set that contains the code.
   • The Display Name column lists the description for each code that is displayed.
   • The CMS IDs column displays all eCQMs that contain a specific code in an associated value set.
