Target Process Priority Scale

  1. Critical: Bugs, TJC/CMS/GWTG/MassHealth Specification Release Notes, Spec updates, etc. Client productivity could come to a halt if these are not implemented.
  2. High Priority: Production or productivity is severely hindered. This includes the prospect of missing a looming deadline because of a technology issue. TJC DDSP Report is not functioning correctly (reordering, incorrect results). High risk of entering incorrect data. Many clients make the same request or present same issue (not a bug).
  3. Medium Priority: Production or productivity is hampered, but work on a project can continue, and a deadline is not in danger of being missed. Functionality in the application is not ideal but there is a workaround. There is a way to get what they want.
  4. Low Priority: Nice to have. It does not affect production or productivity, nor would there be any adverse outcome, as it relates to our project or business if the issue went unresolved. One client requests the enhancement, and no harm would come from it, but it does not impact the greater good. Time permitting, this could be implemented.
  5. Lowest Priority: This might be better described as an annoyance. Something we could implement but not something we will implement unless we have time to do it. Or we will not implement as it does not benefit the greater good. Example: a custom ask that impacts other clients negatively. One client requests the enhancement but implementing would not be for the greater good. Implementation would cause a negative impact for the greater good.
