Submission Edit Checks

This report will display Inpatient and Outpatient Critical and Informational Edits that will occur at HQR during submission of data. It is based on the QualityNet.org published edits documents. The report is on the Reporting page under Data Quality. TJC Measure Sets are displayed to assist with data integrity issues before data entry into TJC's DDSP.

Select the quarter from the drop-down menu. Click 'Go'

The report will display edits. The abstraction icon is available, so you are able to right click it, open in new tab and visit the worksheet to make any corrections. The report is cached, so updates will take ~25 minutes to display on the report.

Action to take: Read the Edit Type, Edit Information and the Relevant Data Values and make corrections as needed. Informational edits may require no action if the data is correct. In this case, Check Acknowledged and Update. Critical edits must be fixed or the case will reject on submission. Critical Edits cannot be acknowledged.
