Sampling - Add/Remove Sampled Population
Administration->Sampling->Add/Remove Sampled Population
Two actions can be accomplished from this page.
- Add cases to the sample if the requirement has not been met or a facility requests it. For a shared CCN, cases can be added per CCN or per facility.
- Choose Quarter
- Choose Measure Set
- Choose Subpopulation
- Choose Month
- Choose Action: Add
- If a shared CCN, check the Add Cases from All Shared CCNs or uncheck the box to add to the selected hospital only (bolded)
- Enter Number of Cases to Add
- Click Add Cases
- Remove cases from a sample if there are cases that are Abstraction Not Started and the sampling requirement has been met. Only excess (oversampled) Abstraction Not Started cases can be removed in this fashion. In Progress or Completed cases CANNOT be removed here. If cases are removed prior to Monthly or Quarterly True-up, they will be re-added if the requirement plus oversample is not met.

- Choose Month
- Choose Action: Remove
- Enter Number of Cases to Remove - cannot be larger than Number of cases over sampled and not started.
- Click Remove Oversampled Cases
- For Weekly Sampling, we have the ability to Add/Remove cases prior to Monthly True-up. The process remains the same, EXCEPT the Expected IPP is used as the population to compute the required sample size. This is effective with Release 136 ENCOR_APP 5.9.0.350.
