Provider Attribution
The report displays provider specific data by physician. It is on the Provider menu under Reporting.
- Select the date range, the provider and any other criteria.
- Click Go.
- To select a provider, click the Provider search icon
- The Provider Listing will pop-up.
- Enter the provider name, number, or mnemonic (depending on how this is provided to us).
- Click the magnifying glass to search.
- Select the provider’s radio button and click Choose Provider.
- The provider data for the selected date range is displayed along with Peer Denominator and Rate.
- The favorable trend indicates whether a lower or higher trend is desirable. This does not indicate the direction of this provider’s trending.
- The color coding on Rate indicates the comparison versus the peer group. Better than peer group is green, worse than peer group is red and equal to peer group is black.
- A peer is any provider that has data for the specific measure. Clicking the + sign will display patient level data.
Note: All data is gathered from the Provider Information section of the Abstraction worksheet. Provider Name and Provider Type are editable fields on each worksheet and can be updated by the abstractor.
