Moving Cases to a new Quarter
Cases will sometimes need to be moved to another quarter. This is how to achieve this.
Case #1
Case is in a single measure set and In Abstraction List.
Action: Change the Discharge or Encounter Date to the new date and save. A message will be displayed to Save and Exit to move the case to the new quarter.
Case #2
Case is in multiple measure sets that are ALL in abstraction.
Action: Do the same thing as above, but change in every worksheet.
Case #3
Case is in multiple measure sets, some In Abstraction List, others Excluded by Sampling.
Action: Change the Date on every worksheet in the abstraction list. Delete from Measure Set Only all the cases excluded by sampling. Once the IPP runs overnight, the cases will return with the corrected Dates.
Case #4
All Cases are Excluded by Sampling.
Action: This must be corrected by Import File.
