Frequently Asked Questions/Tip Sheets

Why does my deleted case keep returning?

  1. Delete from Everywhere versus Delete from this Measure
    1. Delete from Everywhere – deletes the case from every measure set and the underlying tables. For example, a hospice case that does not belong in CORE Measures or a case that gets recoded out of all CORE measure populations.
    2. Delete from this Measure – deletes the case from the one measure. If it has not changed in any way (by re-import) and still qualifies for the measure, it will return. For example, a case is recoded and re-imported, it no longer qualifies for STK, but should still be in the Global population, use delete from this measure.
  2. Deleted cases will return if they are sent post-delete in a file import or if the case is deleted prior to any changes (by import or on the worksheet) that would disqualify it from the population it is currently in.
