Using Manage External Users page, you can add users for clients like IU Health, Broward etc., who use their own identity provider for authentication. If there are multiple users to add, say more than 5, I would recommend creating an SR so that they can be imported. Please reach out to Karthik with questions.
Brian, Valerie, Thomas, Fabian, Joanie, Gina and Kristi are able to add users in this fashion.
A TP should be entered for the request. Assign to EA Managers and Kristi.
Steps to follow when adding external users in Hickory:
- Go to Users -> Manage External Users
- Choose the tenant intended in the External Tenants drop down.
- Now choose the Organization in the Organization drop down. Most of the EncorA organizations are part of tenant where they are the only organization. See below for Organization list.
- Choose the application in the Application drop down.
- Now if all the users you intend to add require the same permissions, you can add all of the email addresses in the Emails text area, separated by a comma or a semi-colon. If not, you can add the users one at a time.
- Choose the sub-organizations they require access to in the SubOrganizations multi-select list.
- Finally choose the roles intended in the Roles multi-select list.
- The Add button now be clicked. With this the added users show up in the grid below.
- Review them and once you are satisfied, you can click the Submit button to finish the process. (You may have to lower your zoom to as much as 50% in order to see the Submit button at the bottom of the grid. This is especially true if many facilities within the Org are being selected.)
- If you wish to view the entries added, click the View Current External Users button next to the Application drop down.
- Once a user is added, send the link to ENCOR for Hospital Abstracted Measures.
Organizations:
IU Health => For IU Health users
UMich Prod => For UMich users
CRISP Production => For EncorE only, HSCRC/MDPCP organizations
Broward Health => For Broward health users
Cedars Sinai => For Huntington users
CHRISTUS Health => For Christus Health users
Memorial Hermann Okta => For Memorial Hermann users, the other one is retired
