HF Sampling

The HF Sampling process will perform quarterly sampling on the cases in the HF Population. It is located on the Reporting page under the Population menu. Please note: Only Users with Administrative Access are able to sample HF.

To perform HF Sampling, select the quarter from the drop-down menu. Enter a number equal to or less than the population size in the Cases to Include.  A number larger than the population will generate an error. Prior to sampling, Is Sampled displays False. Once the quarter and number of cases to include are selected, click Sample.

Once the sampling is done, the Is Sampled converts to True and Included Cases and Total Population are displayed.

The HF Population will display the sampled population and a Note will indicate that the displayed cases are part of a sample.

HF Sampling can be performed multiple times.  For example, if sampling is done when there are only 30 cases in the population and a sample of 35 is desired, when more cases are created in the population, 5 additional cases can be sampled.
