Exclude Quarterly True Up Over Sample

This page allows the Clinical Quality Advisor to indicate if the oversample should be added at Quarterly True-Up.

If a facility is selected on the 'Exclude Oversample for quarterly true up page' they should NOT have their oversample included when true up runs. This is for every quarter until it is deselected.

To Select a Hospital to exclude the Oversample, check the box and click Update. To deselect, uncheck the box and click Update.

Example:
Hospital 1 is selected on this page (they do not want the oversample), Hospital 2 is not (they do want the oversample).

For a given month in the quarter:
Measure Set A at Hospital 1 has a minimum required sample size of 50 and an oversample of 12.
40 cases are in abstraction.
60 cases are excluded.

Measure Set A at Hospital 2 has a minimum required sample size of 50 and an oversample of 12.
40 cases are in abstraction.
60 cases are excluded.

When quarterly true up runs:
Measure Set A at Hospital 1 should have a population of 50 for the month (only 10 cases should be added, not the extra 12 for the oversample).
Measure Set A at Hospital 2 should have a population of 62 for the month (22 cases should be added, including the extra 12 for the oversample).
