Event Rate Results

This report displays Event Rate Results, including the numerator that will be calculated from Events entered and inpatient days that will be submitted in the Facility-Level-Data (FLD) file. Events, Inpatient Days (for EA Cloud only) and Leave Days (if applicable) must be entered into ENCOR for Hospital Abstracted Measures to obtain accurate results. This data is available on the IPF Data Report (Event Rate Grid). The IPF Data Report should be used to obtain the annual data that will be sent to CMS.

Click on the Reporting Menu in ENCOR
From the drop-down Menu, hover over Population
Select Event Rate Results

Choose quarter from the drop down menu
Select Hospitals for Multi-Hospital Facilities
Click Go

The report displays results grouped by Measure ID. The alpha character after the Measure ID (i.e. HBIPS-2a) – represents the age stratum.
- ‘a’ is the Overall - this is the stratum submitted in the FLD file.
- ‘b’ is 1-12 years of age (Children)
- ‘c’ is 13-17 years of age (Adolescent)
- ‘d’ is 18-64 years of age (Adult)
- ‘e’ is 65 or greater years of age (Older Adult)

To obtain monthly data, expand the measure by clicking the (+) sign in front of it.

ENCOR Cloud - Inpatient Days must be entered or the report will not display them. See article Entering Psychiatric Data for instructions.
