Ethnicity Mapping- Meditech DR

Ethnicity Mapping is used in MEDITECH Systems to map from Dictionary Ethnicity Name in MEDITECH to the Corresponding Core Measures Race per the CMS/TJC Specifications.

It is not available in the Cloud Application.

It can be accessed from the Facility Admin menu. These mappings carry over to the worksheets.

To map Ethnicity:

• Click the yellow edit pencil in the Manage column.

• This opens the drop down where you can map to the Ethnicity for each Dictionary Ethnicity Name.

• Depending on your MEDITECH System set-up, you can map Hispanic Ethnicity here or it may be included as part of Race, so Race Mapping can be used.
• Once you have selected the appropriate Ethnicity and checked Hispanic for those dictionary entries with Hispanic Ethnicity, click the Save icon.
• You can cancel to stop mapping the selection.
