ENCOR for Hospital Abstracted Measures UAT Process

  1. Analyze product requirements based upon the work posted in Target Process Release Summaries. The key functionalities/enhancements are identified. We follow the features for testing.
  2. Users consist of Brian Hill, Valerie Fahey, Thomas Pyke, Fabian Lopez, Gina Cardova, and Joanie Gay
  3. Before testing is to begin, Engineering will do a refresh of the data from a production database. The UAT environment is then provided as a sandbox to CS for testing by Engineering (Sarah Williams). The UAT environment is provided approximately three weeks prior to the end of the release cycle. This allows for two weeks of testing and one week for any issues that have been identified to be fixed by Engineering.
  4. Testing is performed by the ENCOR-a UAT Team identified in step #2. All comments and TPs are to be entered during the two weeks of testing. CitC and Form (Measure Info Forms, specs, etc.) do not work right in UAT. Exports are also very slow.
  5. Issues are identified by the team and entered via Target Process and tagged with ‘UAT’ or the team puts ‘UAT’ in the title for the project ENCOR-a.
  6. Engineering fixes any bugs/issues identified; Retest by QA; If Engineering has time to get it fixed for CS to review, this is also completed.
  7. UAT Sign-Off – Confirming testing has been completed and release accepted or delay if a fix is required for the version by CS. NOTE: Communication is fluid throughout each of these steps to ensure if a major issue is identified in UAT, it is immediately brought to Engineering’s attention.
