Department Cost Ratio Update

You can add, edit or change any Department Cost Ratio record manually within the RAPID application.

From the Cost Data Updates section of the Left menu on the Administration page, select Department Cost Ratio. This action displays the Bar Procedure Cost Update page.

Select a department from the Department scroll box.

This action lists the Department Cost Ratio records associated with the selected Department. The information listed on this page include:

  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Department Cost Ratio

Adding a Department Cost Ratio Record

To add a new Department Cost Ratio record, enter the following details in the editable line at the bottom of the grid:

  • Start Date*
  • End Date*
  • Department Cost Ratio*

*Required

Once you are done with setting up the record, click on the Add button icon to save it.

Note: Please note that RAPID does not allow you to enter cost ratio data for overlapping periods. If you attempt to enter data for a period for which a record already exists, RAPID displays an error message stating that "The date range entered overlaps with another date range for the given department."
