Creating a Certification Snapshot
A certification snapshot allows you to create a full copy of your Meaningful Use database. If the data you submitted to CMS/ TJC or for attestation is needed later, you will be able to easily access all the data that was submitted. We recommend creating a snapshot for each submission.
Begin by going to the EncorE home page: click on the Administration tab, then click on create snapshot.
Now that the snapshot has been created, you can view the data in the snapshot listing. Go back to Administration, click on Snapshot Listing.
Once the page loads, you will see a listing of all the snapshots taken for your facility.
You have three actions available to you for each snapshot (please disregard the calendar icon as it's used for other applications). The green pencil icon allows you to Edit the name of the snapshot. The red ‘X’ icon allows you to delete a snapshot – only do this if you are certain you will not need the data in the future. The green check icon puts you in ‘Snapshot View’ – allowing you to view the snapshot data in the application.
Now when you look at your eCQM results it will be the data from your snapshot, once you are finished, click End Snapshot View and you will be back to live data.
