The Module and Report Access section lets RAPID Administrators manage which modules and reports a user has access to.
To manage module and report access, select Module and Report Access from under Account Management in the left hand menu.
Access to reports and modules can be set either individually or by group level.
Module and Report Access: Group Access
To manage module and report access by group, select a group name from the Groups dropdown.
Note
Once you have selected a group, click on the Go button. This action results in an Access Grid being displayed.
The Access Grid for a group displays the following details:
- Users that belong to the group, and
- Modules/Reports and Submodules in an expandable tree. Next to each module or report name is the access the user has - a green check icon denotes that the user has access and a red cross denotes that the user does not have access.
Module and Report Access: Individual Access
To manage module and report access by individual users, select a username from the Non-Admin Users dropdown.
Note
Once you have selected a user, click on the Go button. This action results in an Access Grid being displayed.
The Access Grid for individual users displays the following details:
- Groups that the user belongs to, and
- Modules/Reports and Submodules in an expandable tree. Next to each module or report name is the access the user has - a green check icon denotes that the user has access and a red cross denotes that the user does not have access.

Module and Report Access: Granting Access to Modules, Reports or Submodules
From the Access column in the Access tree, check all the modules, reports or submodules that the user/group has access to.
Granting access to a module automatically gives access to all the reports or submodules under it.
Similarly granting access to all the reports/submodules gives access to the entire parent module.
Once you are done with setting up access, click on the Save Access button to save the user/group's report and module access. RAPID displays a message stating "Access updated."
Module and Report Access: Removing Access from Modules, Reports or Submodules
From the Access column in the Access tree, cross all the modules, reports or submodules that the user/group's access is to be removed from.
Revoking access to a module automatically revokes access to all the reports or submodules under it.
Similarly revoking access to all the reports/submodules under a module revokes access from the entire parent module.
Once you are done with setting up access, click on the Save Access button to save the user/group's report and module access. RAPID displays a message stating "Access updated."
