Account Management: Impersonate User
The Impersonate User section lets users in the RAPID Administrator's group view a user's access levels as if they were logged in as that user.
To view a user's access to modules and screens, select Administration from the RAPID Toolbar and then Impersonate User from under Account Management in the left-hand menu.
Select a username from the Users scroll box and then click on the Impersonate button. When you perform this action, the user's access details are displayed.
The access information includes:
- Patient Data Access - whether the user has this access or not, or
- Groups - which groups the user belongs to,
- Corporations and Departments - which corporations and departments are visible to the user, and
- Reports and Modules - which reports and modules the user has access to.
In addition to this, the displays for Toolbar and Left-hand menu change to look similar to how the user would view them.
Note:
Please note that Impersonate User simply changes the view to reflect what the user sees when s/he is logged in. Any functions available to you under your login will still be available. Any actions you perform while impersonating another user are logged under your user id, and not the impersonated user.
Account Management: Impersonate User
Impersonate User: End Impersonation
If you no longer wish to impersonate a user, click on the End Impersonation button. This action causes your display to revert back to your personal settings.
