How Much Time Do Physicians Spend With Their EHR?

How much time do you think primary care physicians spend performing EHR tasks each day? 

In a recent survey completed by the Annals of Family Medicine, physicians spend over half of their day in their EHR. 

The survey followed 142 family medicine physicians over a three-year period. All physicians were part of a single system in Wisconsin using Epic for their EHR.
